Through @HomeLearning
We are the Lead Partner in the Western Cape Goverment's @HomeLearning programme. Its aim is to support young people who have lost educational input during the COVID Pandemic. It does this by supporting learners, parents, teachers and by building an educational ecosystem of stakeholders that support schools in their efforts to keep learners in school and engaged in their learning.
Working with SCORE, we provide management, governance, supervision of over 300 interns working across over 50 schools in the Western Cape and with over 6,000 children.
The interns are unemployed, aged 18 to 25, young people who are given training and development to enable them to support children and young people in schools, in the home environment and to improve their own employability potential..
I've missed more than 9000 shots in my career. I've lost almost 300 games. 26 times, I've been trusted to take the game winning shot and missed. I've failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed.
