2004

Nompumelelo EduCare Centre 

Opening of a purpose built centre which provides care, welfare, love and basic education. The centre rapidly developed a reputation for excellence and soon became oversubscribed with additional "containers" being used for classrooms. The centre cared for up to 350 children.

2015

Franschhoek Early Learning Centre ​

Build on land adjacent to the sports centre this school provides high quality formal education. It is built on two floors and staffed by trained teachers. This facility is operated by our partner The Kusasa Project.

2010

Mbekweni Community Sports Centre

Opened in 2010, by Lord Mawhinney of the English Football League, the  centre provides safe , secure and "world class" facilities. There is a FIFA standard 3G pitch, training and counselling rooms, changing rooms, a computer centre  and seating for 250 people. Outside are netball courts and cricket nets. The centre is "owned" by the community and is in constant use

2015

Franschhoek Valley Community Sports Centre

Opened in February 2015, by Premier Helen Zille - Premier of Western Cape, the centre provides facilities similar to Mbekweni - but tailored to the needs of the community. There are additional training rooms, a library and a youth resource centre.

2016

Redevelopment of Nompumelelo

A complete rebuild of the facility with 4 new classrooms, a crèche, kitchens and play area'. The building is on two floors and the upstairs rooms are for craft, training, business start up and adult education.

2019

Swartland Community Sport Centre

To open in may 2019 this will be a new facility at the centre of community change. The centre will have an indoor pitch with seating, training rooms, and outdoor pitch and a multipurpose all weather court.
